MSU Rose Gardens Pruning event

The Greater Lansing Rose Society volunteers at the
Michigan State University to prune campus roses

East Lansing, MI, April 25, 2023 - The Greater Lansing Rose Society, a local organization dedicated to promoting the beauty and cultivation of roses, recently volunteered at Michigan State University to prune the roses in the campus rose garden.

The event was organized in partnership with the university's horticultural department, which provided guidance and support to the volunteers. The society members worked to maintain the health and beauty of the roses on campus, ensuring that they will continue to thrive for years to come. By volunteering at the Michigan State University’s rose garden, the society was able to give back to the community while also sharing their passion for roses.

"We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to partner with Michigan State University and contribute to the maintenance of their beautiful rose garden," said Rose Society Member Jennifer Hodges. "As a society dedicated to promoting roses, it was an honor to lend our expertise and passion to help care for these stunning flowers."

The Greater Lansing Rose Society is a local organization that brings together rose enthusiasts. Whether they are seasoned gardeners or simply enjoy the beauty of roses, members share a love for these beautiful flowers and are dedicated to promoting their care.
